Paulus has been teaching and facilitating for both groups and individuals for over twenty years. He was first asked to run a workshop at the famous Actors Centre in London, and is still actively involved with its legacy at Actors at The Centre near The Old Vic. Before long, he was running his own courses with colleague Jamie Anderson as The Singers’ Cabaret Workshop and independently with the hugely popular Beyond Compère, which explores stage persona through clowning, visualisations and games.
After appearing on award-winning BBC1 light-entertainment show All Together Now for two years, corporate clients began seeking him out for guidance on how to improve their public speaking and build confidence, and since then Paulus has trained magistrates, lawyers, small business owners, doctors, priests and even teenagers with behavioural difficulties.
Recent clients include the NHS, Scottish Episcopalian Church, The Big Lunch and The Eden Project.
Failure is how we learn. Corporations must allow, support and celebrate failure. Otherwise, we’ll never break new ground.
